Stephanie completed her Diploma of Art - Product Design in 2004 and Certificate 4 in Business Management. Stephanie has been in business since 2006.
"I like to think that by performing the ancient craft of jewellery making I am contributing to the small amount of things that are hand made in this age of mass production. Creating things that are special, that will be kept and treasured, instead of being disposed of.
I take immense pleasure knowing that my jewellery makes people happy, whether it is a wedding or engagement ring that someone will wear for a lifetime,
or a piece that adds that little something special to an outfit."
"Somewhere… in my brain is where my initial design concepts arise. I begin at the beginning, rather than imagining the finished product I start out knowing what I can do with the tools and equipment I have. I take a surface finish, texture or decorative detail and then give it a complementing form. Rather than creating a form and decorating it, the detail arises first and structure follows."
